How does Opticks detect invalid traffic?

Opticks collects hundreds of publicly available telemetry points both from the browser and the network in order to analyse whether the user is valid or not in real time. Opticks can detect up to 30 types of invalid traffic, including bots, VPN and datacenter traffic or device tampering among many others.

Who does digital marketing fraud and why?

Digital fraud is carried out by several agents, including fraudsters (individuals or organized groups), competitors and intermediaries. They profit by generating false or misleading digital marketing actions such as clicks or leads and collecting the corresponding generated revenue. They usually use tools like bots, data centers and proxies to automate and scale their operations

Why should I care about invalid traffic?

At the end of the traffic supply chain, advertisers are billed by these fraudulent clicks or leads, causing several issues such as drained budgets, decreased ROI or misleading metrics among others. Invalid traffic can also distort your conversion rates, skew your analytics and be the indicator of other underlying issues in your site, such as attacks, scrapping and data theft.

Integration takes less than 5 minutes! Simply add our SensorJS tag snippet to your website either via Google Tag Manager (GTM) or manually as any other javascript tag. No coding skills required. Once added, our system will automatically start detecting and analysing all your traffic.

Will Opticks affect real users or SEO?

Opticks will never modify your page nor block the access to any user, real or not. It will not cause any damage to your SEO or any automated tool you might use, and it is fully compliant with platforms like Google Ads.

Is Opticks GDPR compliant?

Opticks is fully GDPR compliant. Given that Opticks is an ad fraud prevention tool used by Opticks clients to increase the security of their website services requested by users, it is exempted from requiring user content by the law. Instead, Opticks' clients simply need to inform their users about the use of Opticks technology on their websites (as they do with all other technologies).
