Meta Ads

Opticks helps improve Meta Ads ad spent by identifying and excluding visitors who are considered fraudulent. This prevents them from being excluded from your future reach.

To accomplish this with Meta Ads, Opticks uses a Custom Audience that is regularly updated with data from fraudulent users through website events.

For the prevention to be effective, the audience containing fraudulent users must be excluded from all your ad sets. This can be done by manually adding the Opticks Negative Audience to your campaigns as an exclusion option. However, keep in mind that doing so may cause your ad sets to enter the learning phase.

Integration steps

Please visit Meta Integration steps section in the Opticks dashboard to find the instructions on how to set up the Opticks negative audience in your Meta Ads account and how to automate exclusions in your campaigns, including how to verify the Meta pixel is properly installed.

Overview

Once integrated, customers can see data related to Meta Ads in the Overview section, including the amount of invalid traffic and exclusion events. Exclusion events will also be shown in the Performance screen and added in the corresponding economic impact calculations.
